1. What We Collect

When you use Should I Train, we collect:

  • Account information: your email address and name when you sign up.
  • Garmin health and training data: with your explicit consent, we access your Garmin Connect data including sleep metrics, heart rate variability (HRV), Training Readiness, Body Battery, stress levels, activity history, workout details, and structured workout permissions. Garmin may include activity route or GPS-derived data in some workout details. We authenticate through Garmin's official OAuth flow - we never store your Garmin password.
  • Conversation history: messages you exchange with your AI coach to provide personalized recommendations.
  • Payment information: processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card details.
  • Website and attribution information: page visits, device/browser information, IP address, TikTok click identifiers, and hashed email may be processed for advertising measurement only if you allow marketing cookies.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your data solely to:

  • Provide personalized AI coaching recommendations based on your Garmin metrics.
  • Maintain your coaching history and training context across sessions.
  • Process your subscription payments.
  • Send you service-related communications.
  • Measure and optimize advertising campaigns when you consent to marketing cookies.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share Garmin health data, conversation history, or training recommendations with advertising platforms.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure servers. Garmin authentication tokens are encrypted at rest and kept outside the AI runtime workspace. All data transmission uses TLS encryption. Access to user data is restricted to systems and operators needed to run and support the Service.

4. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your subscription is active. When you cancel your subscription, your data is deleted within 30 days. You can request immediate deletion at any time by contacting us.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access all data we hold about you.
  • Export your data in a portable format.
  • Delete your account and all associated data.
  • Revoke Garmin data access at any time through your Garmin Connect settings.

6. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Garmin Connect: to access your health and fitness data (with your consent).
  • Stripe: to process payments securely.
  • Telegram: messaging platform for coach communication.
  • TikTok Ads: to measure page views, checkout starts, and trial starts for advertising campaigns when marketing cookies are allowed.

7. Garmin Data

Data obtained from the Garmin Connect platform via Garmin APIs is used solely to generate personalized coaching recommendations, maintain training context, support proactive reports, and, when you ask, create or schedule structured workouts for the individual user who authorized access.

Selected Garmin-derived context and conversation text may be processed by AI model providers acting on our behalf so the coach can generate responses. We do not sell, resell, or use Garmin data for advertising.

We do not sell, resell, redistribute, or use Garmin data to build advertising profiles.

Any future change to this policy with respect to Garmin data will be submitted to the Garmin Connect Developer Program for written approval prior to implementation.

8. Cookies

Our website uses essential cookies for functionality and anonymous analytics via Vercel Analytics. Optional TikTok marketing cookies and conversion events are used only after you allow marketing cookies. You can decline them without affecting the Service.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify active subscribers of any material changes via email.
